Medstar EMS is a privately owned ambulance company with a central operations center located in Philadelphia; providing services to Philadelphia, Bucks, and Montgomery counties. Among our vast capabilities, our company specializes in Basic Life Support (BLS) services such as inter-facility, dialysis, emergency, and long distance relocation transports. Medstar EMS utilizes a state of the art fleet of emergency units that service facilities in the Northeastern Region of the United States. We partner with major ambulance providers in the Philadelphia area to guarantee quality and efficient medical care.

Scheduling, dispatching, billing, and record keeping are all computer-based and utilize the most advanced software technology available today. Medstar EMS employs the finest security measures to ensure that all client data is kept secure in compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and State EMS regulations.

All of our vehicles are equipped with GPS technology to aid in navigation and dispatched by a team of skilled and professional communications specialists. The vehicles in Medstar EMS are kept in pristine condition to increase patient comfort and safety. Our fleet is maintained by a staff of professional mechanics that guarantee the reliability of the fleet. In addition, all of our emergency vehicles are licensed to operate within Bucks, Montgomery and Philadelphia counties.

Every employee is fully certified to Pennsylvania Department of Health standards with certifications such as CPR, Emergency Vehicle Operator Course (EVOC), and Emergency Medical Technician (EMT).
